EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A.’s Board of Directors informs the public that the Bank’s Extraordinary General Meeting of November 9th, 2007 resolved, among other issues, to proceed with a share capital increase of € 467.500 euros, by partial capitalisation of taxed reserves formed up to the year ended 31.12.2005. The 170.000 common registered shares, of nominal value € 2.75 each, resulting from the above mentioned increase, will be distributed free to employees of the Bank and its subsidiaries.
Following the above increase, the Bank’s share capital will amount to € 1,436,732,594, divided into 522,448,216 shares, of nominal value € 2.75 each.

The decision with reference K2-16933 of the Minister of Development regarding the approval for the amendment of the relevant article of the Articles of Association has been recorded in the Register of Societes Anonymes of the Ministry of Development on 27 November 2007, and the listing of the new shares has been approved by the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange at its meeting on 6.12.2007.
As a result of the above, on Wednesday, 12 December 2007, 170.000 new ordinary registered shares resulting from the abovementioned increase will commence trading on the Athens Exchange. As of the same date the shares will be credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts in the Electronic [Dematerialized] Securities System. Furthermore, attention is drawn to the fact that, as of the above date, the opening price of the shares in the Athens Exchange will be determined according to the Rulebook and the Resolution number 35 of the Board of Directors of Athens Exchange.
