Eurobank Ergasias S.A. (“Eurobank”) announces the following:
The merger of Eurobank with, and by absorption of, its 100% subsidiary New PROTON BANK S.A. (“New PROTON”) was completed today, following the registration of the relevant approving decision No. K2 – 7010/22.11.2013 by the Ministry of Development and Competitiveness with the General Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.).
The operational integration of the two aforementioned banks, which includes the migration of the IT systems and products of New PROTON to those of Eurobank, as well as the absorption of the Proton client servicing networks by those of Eurobank, will be completed on Friday, December 6, 2013.
